Description

These labelers use the appropriate amount of pressure for a given label and product to apply the label without wrinkles or bubbles. The machines at Chicago Automated Labeling are designed to face each container in a certain direction to avoid irregularities in labeling from unit to unit. The pressure sensitive labeler can be outfitted with a printer that feeds into the labeler to increase automation and production times.

The containers the labeler is designed for are guided into the labeling area by nylon rails and a 10-foot-long conveyer belt. Chicago Automated Labeling can outfit your labeler with compressed air-powered spacers that keep the containers equidistant from each other.

The CAL 1000 pressure sensitive labeler is equipped with a touch screen that lets you fine-tune your system and save settings for up to 30 different containers. You shouldn’t have to purchase a separate labeler for each of your products, and with our labelers at Chicago Automated Labeling, you don’t have to.

To increase safety, each machine is outfitted with easily accessible emergency stop buttons on the front and back. All of our machines will run on a 15-amp, 110- to 120-volt dedicated circuit; however, we recommend using a 20-amp dedicated circuit. The terminating end of the electrical power cable uses a NEMA 5-15 plug.

Custom Pressure Sensitive Labeler

As we mentioned, each of Chicago Automated Labeling’s pressure sensitive labeling machines is specifically made to work with the type and shape of container your business’s products use. We believe in measuring twice and cutting once, and during our assessment of your needs, we will get all the information we need to build a machine that’s fine-tuned to your containers.

To get started, you simply contact us to start a conversation about what type of product you want your pressure sensitive labeler to work with. After we have all the information we need about your product and needs, we will get to work building a custom pressure sensitive labeling machine designed to fit your business’s needs.

Our machines are made with high-quality stainless steel with anodized aluminum components. We know there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all machine, so we give your machine everything it needs to apply labels efficiently. There are multiple options to choose from, such as overhead belts to hold down the container the machine is labeling in order to assure a clean label application. We can also equip your machine with a secondary applicator to apply labels to the front and back of your container at the same time.

If your factory or production area calls for it, Chicago Automated Labeling can add a sealed air-conditioned panel to protect your labeler’s electrical components from heat, humidity, and corrosion. Our labelers are built to be long-lasting, but harsh factory conditions can cause damage to more vulnerable electrical components.

These are just a few examples of the need-specific accessories and modifications we can implement in your pressure sensitive labeler. Our aim is to give you everything your business needs during the labeling process of your product assembly. During your free assessment, we will address the finer details of your labeling requirements.

It’s our goal at Chicago Automated Labeling to give you everything you need for your pressure sensitive labeling needs.

Simply put, a pressure sensitive labeler is an automated machine that applies labels to containers. These labelers are a smart way to ensure consistency in the packaging of your products and streamline production. Pressure sensitive labelers are not just for large-scale production companies — businesses of any size can benefit from these machines.

Rolls of adhesive-backed labels are fed into the pressure sensitive labeler as the machine moves containers down its conveyor belt. The labeler adjusts the container to a proper angle before a label applicator attaches the label to the appropriate face of the container.

A good pressure sensitive labeling machine will ensure that each label on each product unit is applied the same way to maintain consistency. Once the label has adhered to the container, that container continues down the conveyor belt to its next destination, ready for the next step of your production line.

Digital control of the product and label provides accurate labeling even with difficult clear film labels. Chicago Automated Labeling provides a 100% stepper motor driven system which reduces moving parts up to 50% and eliminates analog drift. By constantly monitoring the speed of each driven axis Chicago Automated Labeling can provide exact label placement.
